Jonathan began collecting books at the age of ten, failed catastrophically at civil engineering, accountancy and pig wrangling, and in his mid-twenties decided to turn the hobby into a business, cementing the decision by taking a degree in English and Philosophy and rendering himself otherwise unemployable.
Based in Liverpool, north-west England’s Mersey paradise, since 2007, buying and selling books, manuscripts and ephemera, with a strong focus on modern first editions, weird and supernatural fiction and Patrick Hamilton.
Casual valuations and advice regarding the collecting or dispersal of books happily provided for free, whilst more formal valuations for the purposes of probate or insurance can be provided for a fee.
